What can I do with Visualbots for Excel?
VisualBots for Excel can be used by educators to teach concepts in
emergent behavior, math and science, and computer programming. Students can
use simulations in school projects and science fairs. The
VisualBots simulator
provides an easy to use tool for researchers to quickly explore
concepts in emergent behavior. Visit the

page of the VisualBots web site for example simulations and run the sample
projects that are installed with VisualBots for Excel.
What is the cost of the software? Is this freeware??
VisualBots for Excel is freeware. The VisualBots simulator and sample simulations
can by used without charge. However, you are not free to distribute
any of the
software that comes with the installation package (
see
EULA).

of the VisualBots web site.
How can I share my simulations with others?
VisualBots simulations can be saved in Excel workbooks or exported as text files.
For others to run your simulations, they must have the VisualBots for Excel
software installed on their PC.
Can this version of VisualBots be compiled into a Visual Basic
program?
No. This version of VisualBots is designed to function in Microsoft Excel
only. Contact VisualBots
support for information on licensing for the Microsoft
Visual Basic development environment.
If I have multiple User Accounts on my computer, do I have to install VisualBots
on each to give all users access to the software?
No. After installation from a single User Account on your computer, VisualBots
for Excel can be accessed from the other User Accounts. If the Helper Add-in
menu does
not appear on the Excel worksheet menu bar, then following the instructions
in the Inserting the
VisualBots Simulator topic.
